The first Sunday of November the parish of Gosford gathered in wonderful weather on the International celebration of parish life. This community building time began with a family Mass and was followed by a food fair.
This parish is built with members from many countries, so everyone enjoyed delicious food from the Philippines, Italy, Netherlands, Hungary, Lebanon, South Africa, Poland and of course from Australia.
Many people, including the youngest cook Anthony from St Patrick Primary School, year 6, were involved in organizing this event. They provided entertainment for children who enjoyed games, face painting and a bouncy castle.
This wonderful time of Parish Internationality not only provided fun and enjoyment, but also raised over $3000 for the education of children from Parola slums in Manila, Philippines, PusoSaPuso.
