Welcome to the Salvatorians in Australia

We are a religious, apostolic, international religious order founded by Fr Francis Jordan in 1881.
Our name Salvatorians comes from our full name:
The Society of the Divine Saviour
(in Latin: Societas Divini Salvatoris).

There are many ways of serving God in our Catholic Church. One of the ways is the Religious Life. Our way as Salvatorians is to proclaim that Jesus is the Saviour of the World.

Here you can find out who we are and what we are doing in this Southern Land, about our history in the world, Poland and Australia and also about our spirituality, charism, consecrated life, apostolates and how you can fulfill your vocation in our Salvatorian family.

11th Sunday in Ordinary Time A
An introduction to an extended prayer:
Mt 9: 36-10:8

  • “When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless…”(v. 36). I will stand in the midst of the crowd. I will fix my eyes at the gaze of Jesus. I will make an effort to notice His concern and compassion that He looks at me with. He notices me in the crowd. He knows everything about my harassments and daily weariness.
