Prayer

To recognise God’s call

Lord, Jesus Christ, let us be open to your call, so that we may recognise the way in which we are to follow you and serve your people.

We pray for all whom you have called to follow the path of love in Christian marriage. May they be good mothers and fathers to their children. Help them to be a sign of your love and fidelity to each other and also to the world around them.

We also pray for those whom you have called to walk the path of celibate love in the single life or the religious life. Help them to follow you with dedication and happiness.

Teach us all, Lord Jesus Christ, to be attentive to your call and to follow day by day without a moment’s hesitation the path on which you want to lead us.

VI Regional Chapter

From Monday 7th of September till Thursday 10th of September the Salvatorian Community in Australia gathered on the VI Regional Chapter to review and strengthen our apostolates in area of vocations, formation, Salvatorian Collaborators, working with youth especially in regards to preparation towards WYD in 2011 in Spain and our charitable support to people in need around the world.

It was a wonderful time for our community to meet together as one family and worship God with our prayers and songs.

During our Chapter a new Regional Council was elected. Fr Karol Kulczycki has been elected as a Regional Superior, Fr Bronislaw Pietrusewicz as Vice superior, Fr Stanislaw Bendkowski as Regional Secretary, Fr Zygmunt Smigowski as Regional Treasurer and Fr Robert Masternak as Consultor.
